Off road vehicles

An off-road-only vehicle requires a title and registration. The vehicle possesses an ORV tag rather than a metal license plate. Registration is required yearly.

A WATV (wheeled all-terrain vehicle) is different than a regular ORV. Please see our section about WATV’s.

Snowmobile

Snowmobiles have a common renewal date of September 30th

A snowmobile does not have a Title. The signed Registration is the Ownership document. It is used along with a Bill of Sale for transfer. Registration is done yearly on a seasonal basis. Yearly registration also includes a Sno-Park Pass at no extra fee, given at the time of registration.
